Zack Samprone

Co-Owner/ Lead Instructor

High-energy, outgoing, and easygoing, Zack has a knack for connecting with surfers of all ages and skill levels. When he isn’t guiding guests into waves, you can find him playing music, surfing local breaks, or reminiscing about the long left hand point breaks he surfed Chicama, Peru—one of his favorite surf spots on earth.

Elieah Boyd

Co-Owner/ Operations Lead

A Ventura native and total ocean addict, Elieah is pure grit with a smooth longboard style. After recovering from an arm reattachment surgery, she proved her relentless drive by literally learning how to surf all over again using just one arm! A kid at heart who spends every spare second in the lineup, she juggles daily camp scheduling, keeps operations tight, and brings the infectious energy that powers the academy.

Shaun Callahan

Camp Manager/ Lead Instructor

A fundamental pillar of our coaching team, Shaun leads surf instruction while managing day-to-day camp logistics. Beyond the ocean, he coaches multiple competitive club soccer teams, bringing natural leadership, mentorship, and a steady, role-model presence to every session on the sand.

MARY OSBORNE

Founder/ Executive Producer

A Ventura-born former professional longboarder, Mary is a true pioneer who helped pave the way for modern women’s surfing. After years of running the camp, she has passed the torch to Zack and Elieah, and now channels her deep industry expertise into guiding high-profile events, community outreach, and spends most of her time just being a mom!

YOUTH

VOLUNTEERS

We love giving motivated former campers and local youth the opportunity to jump in and lend a hand at camp, while still spending their summer days in the surf. Whether assisting instructors in the water or keeping beach activities high-energy, our volunteer program builds real confidence and leadership skills.
